
Recognize energy manipulators – also known as energy vampires. I like to refer to them as manipulators because they don’t always take your energy, they often try to pass on their negative energy, or influence yours in some way. Either way, interactions with them leave you feeling depleted, stressed, and sometimes physically ill, so you’ll want to learn to recognize them as soon as possible, and know what to do when you encounter them.
If you happen to be an empath and/or highly sensitive, they can and will affect you even more. They will even be drawn to you because of your positive energy and caring heart, and their affects can be even more devastating and long-lasting.
You know when you’ve encountered one when:

Once you identify one of these personality types you can set an intention to protect yourself whenever you need to interact with them. Also, think about ways to restore your energy after you’ve been around them, and whenever possible, avoid them.
