The Freedom of Forgiveness – even when you know that holding on to anger or pain from a person or situation is harmful to you and nobody else, it can still be difficult to let it go and truly forgive. People often have a hard time embracing forgiveness, even when they want to.
I came across this Prayer of Forgiveness on Instagram this week and liked it so much I wanted to share it with you.
I hope you enjoy it and find it useful.

A Prayer of Forgiveness:
“If I have harmed anyone in any way
Either knowingly or unknowingly
Through my own confusions
I ask their forgiveness.
If anyone has harmed me in any way
Either knowingly or unknowingly
Through their own confusions
I forgive them.
And if there is a situation or person
I am not yet ready to forgive
I forgive myself for that.
For all the ways that I harm myself,
Negate, doubt, belittle myself,
Judge or be unkind to myself
Through my own confusions
I forgive myself.”
