
Become a mind-shift master – from time to time situations may arise where you have to do something you don’t really want to do or are not thrilled about, but you decide you need to do it anyway. When this happens, it is so tempting to allow your thoughts to focus on how bad it is and how you don’t want to do it, etc.
The more you think about how you don’t want to be doing it, the worse you feel and the more frustration and resentment can build – which means you feel even worse. This sends you into a downward spiral, which affects your vibration and takes away any possibility of you having any kind of positive experience from the situation.
When this happens, you can make a big difference simply by having a mind-shift. When your mind is stuck in thoughts of how you don’t like this or want to be doing it, you are giving your power away to the situation. Instead, you could have a mind-shift that says “even though I don’t like this and don’t want to be doing it, I am choosing to do it because (it’s the right thing to do, or this person needs my help, or I’ll feel good once I’ve done it, etc.).
This mind-shift acknowledges that you are choosing to do it – which stops you feeling powerless. You also open yourself up to the possibility that something good could come out of the situation, because you’re going into it with a different vibration.
This isn’t about pretending something is good when it isn’t or trying to sugar-coat something. It’s about helping you feel powerful instead of powerless, and helping you to achieve the best vibration you can in a difficult situation.

I have the power to change my thoughts about anything. I now choose to reach for the most positive, uplifting and powerful thoughts I can in all situations.
