
Are you paddling upstream? When you’re trying hard to accomplish something and it seems as though the harder you try the less progress you make, it may be that you’re trying to paddle upstream instead of allowing yourself to flow downstream.
If you’ve ever had those experiences when everything seems to fall into place easily and effortlessly – that’s flowing downstream. That’s when everything is in alignment and what you are doing is right. It feels effortless.
When you’re paddling upstream, however, you begin to doubt yourself and feel that perhaps what you’re doing is the wrong thing and you may even be tempted to give it all up and start over with something new.
