Watch what you say – words (like everything else) have energy and are extremely powerful. Author Don Miguel Ruiz talks about this in his book, The Four Agreements when he says “Be impeccable with your word.”
Here are some examples:
Credibility: doing what you say – I was watching a ’how-to’ video the other day about doing live videos (in preparation for my upcoming Stuck to Unstoppable Video Course) and the instructor said several things that were not in alignment with what she was doing. First, she said the videos should be no longer than 10 minutes – hers was 18; then she said you should cover no more than 5 points – she covered 8; she also said to look at the camera, rather than at your own image – she looked at her own image a lot and was constantly adjusting her hair and her clothes. The result – it was difficult to take her seriously.
Law of attraction: attracting what you say – remembering that you attract what you put your attention on, watch out for what you say. Notice if you find yourself saying things like:
Gossip: causes harm – in The Four Agreements the author says that gossip “spreads emotional poison.”
“Being impeccable with your word is the correct use of your energy; it means to use your energy in the direction of truth and love for yourself.” (from The Four Agreements)
This week, notice what energy you are sharing by the use of your words.

- I can’t afford to …
- What a pain in the neck ….
- I never win anything ...
