Acknowledge your fears – Franklin D. Roosevelt said “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” And it’s true, we are afraid of being afraid. But fear has the biggest impact on you when you don’t acknowledge it. When you do acknowledge that you’re afraid, and you face it head on, it actually loses its power over you.
When you tell yourself that you shouldn’t feel fear and you push it aside, that’s when you give it power. Instead of pushing it aside, acknowledge it. Ask yourself what you’re really afraid of. Allow yourself to feel it. You’ll be surprised at how quickly the fear can be resolved or will simply dissolve when you do this.
Don’t let unacknowledged fears take your energy and your power.
