
Take a break – sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is to step out of your life for a short while. This is particularly helpful when you are going through a difficult situation.
When you’re in the middle of things and can’t see a way forward, stepping away for a while can give you the distance and clarity that you need.
Take a day away or a weekend or even a week. You might think you can’t because people need you or because you’re too busy, but those people and those things will still be there when you get back.
You don't have to go far. Just far enough away that you can detach from everything for a while.
Do this for you. For your mental, emotional and physical health – and also because those around you will benefit. You’ll feel better, you’ll have renewed clarity, and everyone benefits from that!
