Boost your immune system – at this time of year it’s very easy to be exposed to colds, flu and other viruses. The busier and more overwhelmed you are in your life, the lower your energy and your immune system’s defenses might be.

You can keep your immune system strong so it can fight off whatever comes your way, by avoiding processed and fast foods and eating as much fresh, natural food as you can and, of course by exercising.

You can also give your body a little extra support with things like essential oils or supplements. Here are couple of my favorites:

Essential Shield (diffuse, add a couple of drops to your bath add to water to make a spray to freshen your room, or add a drop or two to lotion or massage oil and massage into your feet).

Elderberry Defense (a combination of elderberry extract, Vitamin D and echinacea to support the immune system).

Remember also to schedule plenty of downtime for yourself. Nothing supports your body more than taking time out to take care of yourself. When you're exhausted your energy and your body's defenses will be low.

Don't forget your positive mindset as well - the more positive and uplifted you feel, the more energized you feel. Your body will thank you for it.
