Sometimes though, you may be expecting something to be a struggle and it actually isn’t. For example, you’re asking someone for help and in your mind you’re telling yourself that they will probably say no and you’ll either have to find someone else or do it yourself. But then they say yes. It’s unexpectedly easier than you thought it would be.
If you can let go of the belief that things have to be difficult and instead, recognize, affirm and appreciate when things go smoothly, you’ll find that more things go smoothly for you.
When you’re used to struggle and to things being tough, it can be difficult to let go. But if you can relax more and celebrate the things that unfold effortlessly, you will experience more joy and fulfillment.
