Choose success AND fulfillment – motivational speaker Tony Robbins says “success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure.” I think he has a good point. There are many people out there who are very successful and yet they’re unhappy.
We often think, if I just had more money, or if I could just grow my business, or live in a certain house, or lose weight, then I’d be happy. But you could accomplish all of those things and still feel that something is missing.
True and authentic success is more about how you feel than what you have. Rather than simply pursuing success, ask yourself first what success means to you. How will you know when you feel truly successful and what makes you feel fulfilled? How can you combine the two?
As Tony Robbins says, when you have success without fulfillment, you really don’t have anything.
