
Use your emotional guidance system – your emotions tell you how you are feeling. When you don’t feel good, it’s a sign that something within you is out of alignment: perhaps you’re doing something you don’t really want to be doing, or you need to practice more self-care, or you need to forgive someone or yourself.
When you don’t feel good, check in with yourself to identify what emotion it is that you are feeling. Then ask yourself what’s behind that emotion – what is it telling you about yourself?
When you check in with yourself in this way, by learning to pay attention to what your body and your emotions are trying to tell you, you’ll not only feel better, you’ll find yourself moving faster and more confidently towards whatever life experiences you really want to have. When you ignore your emotional guidance system, you’ll stay stuck and it won’t feel good.
